The journeys people are already taking

People travel to visit family, take up a job, study, trade and explore an opportunity. Behind each journey is a reason to move and, often, a connection between one place and another. ikWik’s philosophy starts with those everyday connections and the possibility that a real journey could also help a package reach someone.

This is the thinking behind our guiding principle: Together, We Move. We see value in bringing people’s needs and journeys into a shared process, with care for what each person is being asked to do.

A package connects people

A parcel has someone at either end: a person preparing it and a person waiting to receive it. Along the way, other people may contribute their time, available capacity or knowledge of a place. Their roles are different, but each deserves clear information and consideration.

ikWik brings senders, eligible carriers and travelers, receivers, and pickup-point agents together to coordinate package deliveries. Roles and features depend on eligibility and availability; the people involved can differ from one delivery to another. Our purpose is to help those contributions make sense together.

Trust needs something to stand on

Human connection gives this idea its energy. Responsible coordination gives it direction. In our view, trust grows through practical care: describing a package honestly, understanding a proposed journey, respecting what someone has agreed to carry, and taking a handover seriously.

The sender’s need matters, as do the carrier’s capacity, the agent’s responsibilities and the receiver’s ability to collect. A useful connection has to take those circumstances into account. We want the spirit of helping one another to go alongside informed choices and respect for the rules that apply to a package and its journey.

Opportunity with responsibility

The time and attention involved in moving a parcel have value. Our vision includes opportunities for eligible carriers, travelers and pickup-point agents to contribute to package movement and potentially earn from eligible work.

Eligible completed work can create earnings once delivery and payment conditions are met. This is subject to applicable verification and dispute conditions, with no fixed earnings guarantee. The opportunity starts with a suitable task and a person willing and eligible to take it on. Respecting that choice is part of the philosophy.

An international outlook, grounded in real journeys

Family, work, learning and trade connect people across places and cultures. We approach ikWik with that international outlook, while recognising that every actual journey has its own practical conditions. Availability, eligibility, carrier acceptance and applicable transport rules determine which connections can become delivery opportunities.

The idea of six degrees of separation is a cultural inspiration for ikWik’s view of human connection. It invites us to notice the relationships around us. An actual package journey still needs its own suitable route and responsible coordination.

Together, We Move.

For us, these words express a shared direction: people helping goods move with purpose, through real journeys and thoughtful cooperation. A useful service should pay attention to the people making it possible, as well as the parcel being moved.

Our ambition is to make those connections useful while keeping responsibility visible. To explore the practical side, visit our frequently asked questions and learn about the roles and conditions involved.
